PowerPoints Ts & Cs

1. By using the Central Billing Scheme, the Customer is automatically entitled to access the PowerPoint Scheme.

2. The Customer shall accrue PowerPoints for each payment made via the Central Billing Direct Debit Scheme to participating Powerpoint Suppliers.

3. The Customer acknowledges that not all Suppliers participate in the scheme and the amount of PowerPoints which can be earned through the purchase of goods and/or services will differ among the various PowerPoint Suppliers.

4. PowerPoints are earned on the net value of a participating Suppliers invoice at the percentage rate agreed between Beacon and the Supplier.

5. The customer can obtain a PowerPoint balance by emailing centralbilling@beaconpurchasing.co.uk.

6. The Customer may redeem Powerpoints as follows:

  • as a credit against a specific Supplier invoice paid through the Central Billing Scheme; or
  • as a credit to reduce their overall Central Billing statement payment.

  • as a full or part credit against the Beacon Subscription Fee.

7. In order to exercise its rights under clause 6, the Customer must notify Beacon by way of email to CentralBilling@beaconpurchasing.co.uk including details of how many PowerPoints it wishes to redeem and what the PowerPoints are to be redeemed against. Beacon shall email the Customer to either confirm that its request has been completed or to request further information in order to complete the request.

8. Where the Customer has opted to redeem its PowerPoints under clauses 6.1 or 6.2 and in accordance with clause 7, the PowerPoint credit shall be shown as a deduction from the statement amount due from the Customer and the invoice will not be in dispute.

9. Beacon reserves the right to withhold redemption of PowerPoints in the event that any sums are due and outstanding from the Customer in respect of the Subscription Fee or any Supplier Invoice.

10. On termination or expiry of the Customer Agreement:

  • PowerPoints may be redeemed in accordance with this clause 7 for a period of 30 days from the effective date of termination, after which point they will be automatically forfeited; and

  • Beacon reserves the right to redeem the Customer’s PowerPoints for a credit against the Subscription Fee in lieu of contractual notice.

11. Beacon reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the PowerPoint Scheme at any time without notice.
