NEW: British Carrots
The British carrot season has drawn to an abrupt end due to the recent spell of wet weather and hard frosts earlier in the year.
Unfortunately, the UK carrot season has come to a close sooner than expected due to some unfavorable weather conditions. The quality of the crop has been impacted, prompting an early end to the season. For the next two months, suppliers will have to rely on "new season" carrots from various locations such as Israel, China, France, Spain, and Italy.
While these new season carrots will have a superior sweet taste, it's important to note that they will have a limited shelf-life. Therefore, it is advised to store them with care.
