Introducing Best Western Room in a Box

Launched at this year's Annual Members Conference for Best Western Hotels this week at Celtic Manor, we are proud to announce Room in a Box.

Created specifically with Best Western hotels in mind, this project has been developed to focus on making it easier for hotels to refurbish their bedrooms that meet the minimum standards and aesthetic standards that the brand requires.

Designed to be a simple process, hotels choose from a total of 18 designs, that take inspiration from a variety of styles, colours and furniture, whilst maintaining the properties individual character. Each room as been costed, to ensure that hotels can be confident that their furniture, fixtures and fittings (FF&E) budget is closely controlled.

The designs themselves are unique and designed specifically with the Best Western audience in mind, making them unique for the brand. The more traditional design options are reflected with furniture containing curved edges and more detail, compared to the more contemporary designs that feature much cleaner lines and simplicity.

Each of the designs can be tailored via the use of colour and pattern therefore bringing variances to the options. Perfect if you want to make each room slightly different to the next. This initiative encapsulates the Best Western ‘hotels with personality’ branding – ‘Room in a Box’ is certainly not a one size fits all approach.

In keeping the design options to a minimum, we are able to keep expenditure down and timescales tighter – meaning that Best Western hotels can implement changes quickly and easily and therefore benefit from any room rate uplift in the shortest time frame possible.

What can hoteliers expect to be included within their room in a box scheme?Schemes start from just under £3,500 per room (excluding installation costs). The concepts are designed to meet Best Western minimum standards and include the following products, all sourced from industry quality suppliers many of which are The British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA).
