Beacon appoints two new account managers to strengthen its national team

Beacon is happy to announce the appointment of two new account managers as part of an ongoing investment programme into its staff and resource within the business.

Huma Khan joins the team as a National Account Manager, bringing extensive knowledge and experience of account management. Her previous roles include working for a variety of blue chip FMCG companies, including Rank Hovis, Britain’s biggest flour millers, where she handled key accounts. In her new role, Huma will be responsible for many of Beacon's existing customers, ensuring that they effectively utilise and derive maximum benefit from the Beacon service.

Joining the team as a Regional Account Manager is Wilson Bryson. Having worked in food service for 20 years and with extensive experience of both front and back of house areas, he joins Beacon from a position of a key account manager for Mackie’s of Scotland. In his new role, Wilson will be responsible for handling procurement across a number of categories for many of Beacon’s independent customers in Scotland.

Paul Connelly, Operations Director at Beacon commented:

“Huma and Wilson will both be great additions to our account management team, as they each bring a huge wealth of knowledge and experience, which will contribute to the future success of our company. Huma’s understanding of pricing and forecasting will be hugely beneficial, as will Wilson’s extensive experience with grocery wholesalers, in order to ensure we are providing the best possible service for our customers.”
