Andy Murray's Scottish Hotel re-opens following refurbishment

Beacon customer Cromlix luxury hotel, Scotland, has re-opened for business, following Andy Murray's £1.8m purchase and refurbishment of the property.

Andy Murray's five-star Cromlix Hotel, is nestled nearby to his home town of Dunblane and has been a Beacon customer since 2011.

The hotel features five suites, ten bedrooms, a chapel, reception hall, two drawing rooms, a conservatory, library and meeting rooms. The property also boasts the Chez Roux restaurant, which is overseen by French chef Albert Roux and run by award-winning executive head chef Darin Campbell, offering locally-sourced produce.

True to interests of the heart, Murray's hotel boasts a tennis court and practice wall, which has been decorated in the Wimbledon colours.

Mike Cantalay from Visit Scotland says “We are delighted that one of our greatest sportsmen – Andy Murray – has entered the tourism game and I’m sure he will be a terrific ambassador for the industry,”

“The revamped Cromlix is bound to be a huge draw for visitors from all over the world, generating the kind of excitement that Andy creates on court. I am positive this venture will be a resounding success and we wish the team all the very best.”
