Christmas Comes Early at the Beacon Roadshow

Beacon members recently gathered to experience the world of choice offered by Beacon, at Best Western Bank House Hotel as the third regional roadshow took place in Worcester on 1st September.
Beacon held the event in conjunction with a wide range of its nominated suppliers. It provided a fantastic opportunity for guests from across the hospitality industry to experience a Christmas themed roadshow with a festive introduction to products and services from across the board.

Beacon also offered guests the chance to view the new and interactive Beacon website which has undergone extensive developments in the last few months. Beacon staff were on hand to answer any questions or discuss account details at the roadshow and all attendees received 20,000 Powerpoints worth £100.

Attendees were given the opportunity to view a wide range of Christmas samples that included table setting, decoration and food. Amongst the suppliers participating in the exhibition were: Alliance and Inenco, Brakes, Coors, Delice de France, Duni, Fraser EAGLE, Contracts, Matthew Clark, Scottish Courage Ltd and Woodward Foodservice.

The event introduced new Beacon supplier Bibendum Wine Ltd, who are one of the leading wine companies in the UK.

Chris Arnold, Purchasing Manager at Beacon, has been pleased with the feedback he has received from both members and suppliers, he commented: "The festive roadshow had a great atmosphere and we were pleased that the suppliers participated with the theme.

"This is the third roadshow Beacon has undertaken and attendees enjoyed viewing all the Christmas goods and services that we had to offer. We had a record number of suppliers attending and we anticipate this will go from strength to strength for the next roadshow in spring. The event is very beneficial to both members and suppliers and allows them to interact at a level that was not previously catered for" Chris added.
